Drapery fabric is a fabric more tailored with pleats and gathered headings. Used in Upholstery Valences, Headboards, Pillows and curtains, Drapery fabric is usually lighter weight and is not suitable for upholstery projects. Sometime lined or unlined, drapery fabric covers the window completely or is pulled back to the sides of the window.
Constructed with an open weave, drapery fabric is improved very much which is having a solar control film. Reducing the loss or gain of heat, the solar control film permits light transmission through the open weave and it is very effective in terms of reducing heat loss in winters. Drapery fabric easily tends to be softer and to fall in folds. |
