Knitted, woven or non-woven, interlining fabric is soft but thick fabric. Interlining fabric is commonly inserted between the dress fabric and the back lining. The shape retention quality of interlining fabric is also improved which gives strength, warmth or bulk to the fabric. Interlining fabric is used for making thick, sturdy, smart coats, wind coats, suits and also officer suits.
Made up of pure cotton, interlining fabric is in very much use today. There is an adhesive coating in interlining fabric which helps to remove all shrinkage from the product and also impart stretch to the fabric. There are many characteristic of interlining fabric like it is soft thick, strong and sometimes warm or bulk. |
